Accreditation and disclosure

Accreditation. These activities are planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) through the joint providership of MSSNY and the Academy of Medicine of Queens County. MSSNY is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit designation. MSSNY designates each activity for the maximum number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ shown on its listing. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Learners who attended a live session may not claim credit again for its recording. Podcasts are educational and are not certified for credit unless stated.

Commercial support and disclosure. Commercial support for each program is listed with that program. Supporters have no role in the selection of faculty, the learning objectives, or the content. All faculty and planners disclose relevant financial relationships, and any conflicts are mitigated in accordance with the ACCME Standards for Integrity and Independence. Activities may discuss agents that are investigational or not approved by the FDA for the uses described.
